Northern Virginia Family Service
Dear Business Benefits Group,
A big thank you to everyone at BBG for supporting Northern Virginia Family Service.
Your gift through the Give Back Foundation is greatly appreciated and will help to:
- Provide healthy food and nutrition information to more than 2,000 families,
- Help more than 8,400 individuals stay healthy through free or discounted health, dental and prescription services,
- Partner with more than 1,700 families in creating nurturing home environments that foster child development, and
- Connect more than 35,000 individuals with the tools needed to rebuild their lives and thrive.
This is only made possible by the generosity and dedication of friends like you. Your donation provides more than tools and resources for local families — it provides hope. If you have any questions, please contact Alyssa Lee, Annual Giving Manager, at 571-748-2871.
On behalf of the men, women, and children your donations impact, thank you again for your commitment to improving the lives of all individuals throughout our community.
Gratefully,
Kathleen McMahon

Ronald McDonald House Charities
Business Benefits Group,
Thank you for your kind support of the families we serve. This year, thanks to you, families in the greater D.C. area facing serious childhood illness were given comfort, support, and a safe “home-away-from-home” — even during isolation and the uncertainty of the novel coronavirus. You made it possible to keep families together, provide critical resources, and give sick children access to the medical treatment and care they need.
Your support helps give families more time with their sick children.
Thank you.

The Team at Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation
Dear BBG,
Thank you so much for your generous donation to Fallen Patriots this holiday season. Your donation enables us to continue our mission of providing college scholarships to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty. We would not be able to do this without the support of true patriots like you.
With Gratitude,
The Team at Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation
Lucky Dog Animal Rescue
BBG,
Thank you so much for your incredibly generous donation! I wanted to personally let you know how grateful we are to receive it.
As you may know, Lucky Dog works is often the last chance for the dogs and cats we work with. These animals come from high-kill shelters which are underfunded, under-resourced, and where there are little to no local adoptions. Your donation is critical to their survival — is critical to helping us save even more Lucky Dogs and Cats.
Thank you for being a part of our team.
Best,

Mutt Love Rescue “Mutts”
Dear Dino and Employees of BBG:
On behalf of the Board, volunteers and dogs at Mutt Love Rescue, I want to thank all of you for your hard work and efforts in making the car show at Rob’s Customs & Restoration a great success for Mutt Love Rescue.
We made over $6000.00, and that will enable us to help a lot of dogs.
As I told Dino and Ann, it takes a village to save just one dog.
Sincerely,
Patricia R. Phelps

Dear Staff at Business Benefits Group,
Well, we’ve fallen behind in expressing our appreciation for all your efforts. Our No Sale Yard Sale was a huge success! We provided community members with clothes, toys, books, and household goods—even small furniture items. It was pleasing to see so many people leaving with large bags of necessities for their families. The “sale” served it’s purpose and in the process we raised over $500 for the Daniels Run Food 4 Though program. I think that’s the most we’ve ever brought in. Thank you for your generous contributions.
As for the Food 4 Thought program, it’s running very smoothly this year. We have wonderful partners like you who enable us to sustain our weekly effort of sending home food for 102 children. In-house we have parent and community volunteers who take in inventory, shop and pack the bags every Thursday morning. We continue to do our best to meet the diverse needs of our families and appreciate all that you do at BBG to provide ongoing support for the children in our community. We know that some of you donated raffle winnings, others have gone shopping out of pocket for food, and you donate the proceeds from your snack shop. All of your thoughtful gestures have not gone unnoticed or unappreciated.
We are grateful for your continued support and wish you all a wonderful holiday season.

Virginia Chapter of the Pajama Program
Dear Rae and the staff of Business Benefits Group,
Thank you so much for your generous donation to the Virginia Chapter of the Pajama Program. As you know, a loving good night leads to better days for all children, no matter how dire their circumstances. For thousands of Virginia’s children, often abandoned, abused, neglected, and living in group homes, shelters and temporary housing, the treasured bedtime ritual of changing into clean pajamas, reading a story and being tucked in with love is miles from their reality. That’s why we promote a caring and supportive bedtime by giving at-risk children the magical gifts of warm, new pajamas and an enchanting storybook, letting them fall asleep with hope in their hearts for tomorrow. For children who do not have a safe, loving home environment or are living in extreme poverty, these gifts are often the only new things they receive.
On behalf of the children, thank you for sharing your love with them.
Sincerely,
Karen Duffy

Dear Antonia, Neely, Patti, Kristin, Kelly and Rae,
You ladies are amazing! We so appreciate your thoughtfulness and support for our Daniels Run Food 4 Thought Program. Thank you for taking the time to shop and select the much needed food and household items for our families. Your partnership with our school is very important to us.
Contributions like yours allow our program to continue providing support to approximately 100 children each week, which amount to approximately 2,400 meals per month.
City Councilman Jeff Greenfield leads a task force to end childhood hunger in Fairfax City in order to make necessary comprehensive change, but until that happens, programs like our provide ongoing aid to children which helps them to concentrate on learning, and increases their sense of safety and security. Thank you so much for supporting this mission.
We appreciate your commitment to our community.
Sincerely,

Dear Business Benefits Group,
You all are amazing! Thank you so much for your incredible donations to our No Sale Yard “Sale.” It was an unexpected windfall to get household goods, furniture, and clothes from your group, and the range of options certainly helped us to raise money to support our Food 4 Thought program.
The No Sale Yard “Sale” is held twice a year at Daniels Run ES. Its primary purpose is to get clothes and goods into the hands of our community members who are struggling financially. And really, the event is for everyone. Children grow quickly, so it’s nice to be able to turn in a gently worn dress or pair of shoes, and possibly find something in the next size up. Some of our families who need it most leave with a garbage bag full of clothes for themselves and their children. We figure that regardless of a family’s financial situation, most people want to contribute in whatever way they can: Some volunteer at the event, while others donate a few dollars.
Nothing is tagged in our “Sale.” People drop money into a donation bucket on their way out if they want to. Largely due to your generosity we raised $460.00 for the Food 4 Thought program, which now serves 90 students per week.
Please know that your efforts in gathering together items for the community were well worth it!
Anything that was not “sold” was donated to Purple Heart.
We will keep you posted on future events. Enjoy the spring!
Regards,
Adam Erbrecht
Principal
